JAMSHEDPUR – A woman from Golpahari in Parsudih has accused her maternal uncle-in-law of threatening and sexually exploiting her. Frustrated with police inaction, the victim approached the SSP office on Friday to seek justice.

The victim submitted a written complaint to the SSP, alleging that Dilip Kumar, her maternal uncle-in-law, threatened to kill her, her husband, and their child. She claims he has been exploiting her for over a year under repeated threats.

Police Inaction and Victim’s Ordeal

The woman revealed that on December 17, she mustered the courage to file a complaint at Parsudih police station. However, the police allegedly delayed action for two days. On December 19, the station in-charge questioned her and assured a medical examination.

Meanwhile, a female constable reportedly advised her against pursuing the case, stating it would be futile. Although the accused was summoned for questioning, no FIR has been registered to date.

Continued Threats and SSP Intervention

The victim further alleged that she continues to face threats from the accused and his family. Left with no choice, she approached the SSP, pleading for justice and immediate action against the accused.
