JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur Football Club has appointed Shakti Singh from Delhi as the head coach of their Under-15 team.

An AFC ‘A’ Diploma holder, Singh brings nearly a decade of coaching experience to the club.

He has previously served as the Head of Youth Development at KR Leaders FC and Bhaichung Bhutia Football Schools, institutions recognized for their contributions to grassroots football in India.

Singh is renowned for his expertise in identifying and nurturing young talent, a skill that aligns with Jamshedpur FC’s commitment to developing future football stars.

Upon his appointment, Singh expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "It is an honor to join Jamshedpur FC, a club with a strong vision for developing young talent.

I will utilize my experience to the fullest."

This appointment comes as Jamshedpur FC continues to strengthen its youth development programs.

Recently, the club announced trials for its Under-15 Tata Football Academy (TFA) team, attracting over 1,000 young talents from 26 states and union territories.

The trials, held at the TFA grounds, aim to scout promising players for the upcoming season.

Jamshedpur FC’s dedication to grassroots football is evident through its extensive network of football schools and development centers.

The club operates multiple grassroots and youth development centers across the Kolhan region of Jharkhand, engaging over 2,000 children aged 3 to 18 years.

These initiatives reflect the club’s mission to promote football and foster a healthy lifestyle within the community.

The appointment of Shakti Singh is expected to further enhance the club’s efforts in cultivating young talent and contributing to the broader Indian football landscape.

His extensive experience and proven track record make him a valuable addition to Jamshedpur FC’s coaching staff.
