The incident occurred at one of the plant’s older entrance points.

"This individual had a history of unauthorized entries," noted a security official.
Tata Steel has enhanced its security measures in recent years. The plant spans 3,700 acres.
Besides, the facility maintains round-the-clock surveillance with over 1,000 cameras.
On the other hand, local police confirmed multiple previous break-in attempts.
After medical treatment, authorities took the suspect into custody.
