96 Rounds of Counting for Five Assembly Seats in Palamu

MEDININAGAR – The counting of votes for the Jharkhand Assembly Election will take place on November 23 at the GLA College premises in Medininagar. Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Shashi Ranjan announced that preparations for the counting process have been completed.

Separate halls have been arranged for the five constituencies—Daltonganj, Panki, Bishrampur, Chhatarpur, and Hussainabad. The vote counting for all 1,796 booths across the district will be conducted in 96 rounds, with specific arrangements for each seat.

Dalitganj’s votes will be counted in 20 rounds, while Panki, Bishrampur, Chhatarpur, and Hussainabad will each require 19 rounds. The administration has allocated 22 tables for Daltonganj, 20 for Bishrampur, and 18 each for Panki, Chhatarpur, and Hussainabad.

Eight tables have been set aside for counting postal ballots, and 12 tables will be used for ETPBS (Electronically Transmitted Postal Ballot System) votes. The process will begin at 8 AM under tight security.

The district administration has ensured a smooth counting process, providing a detailed roadmap for efficient handling of votes.
