JAMSHEDPUR – Abhishek Hembram, a 40-year-old resident of Chholgoda in the Parsudih area, was fatally shot on Thursday evening, allegedly by his neighbor, Roshan Hembram.
Following the incident, Abhishek’s wife rushed him to Tata Main Hospital (TMH) with help from neighbors, where he was declared dead by doctors.
DSP Law and Order Taufiq Alam and Parsudih Police Station in-charge Faiz Ahmed arrived at TMH to gather information about the case.
According to the DSP, Abhishek’s wife reported that Roshan Hembram, along with Bhola and others, came to their house and began arguing with Abhishek.
During the confrontation, Roshan allegedly pulled out a gun and shot Abhishek.
Both Abhishek and Roshan ran separate ration shops in the neighborhood, and there had been a customer dispute between them about a month ago.
While the two reportedly reached a settlement, Abhishek’s wife claims that Roshan harbored resentment, leading to the fatal shooting.
