JAMSHEDPUR – Election authorities have filed charges against two candidates for allegedly distributing unauthorized voter slips at multiple polling stations.

Dr. Ajoy Kumar from Congress faces allegations of electoral misconduct.

Meanwhile, independent candidate Shiv Shankar Singh is also named in the complaint.

Moreover, election officials discovered the unauthorized materials at Navodaya Adivasi Primary School.

Furthermore, the distributed slips contained candidate photos and party symbols.

In addition, the violations occurred across four different polling booths.

However, swift action led to the confiscation of numerous voter slips.

On the other hand, the District Election Officer promptly ordered an investigation.

Subsequently, authorities registered an FIR at the Sidhgora Police Station.

Furthermore, the case falls under the Representation of the People Act, 1951.
