JAMSHEDPUR – The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has launched a campaign across the Jugsalai Municipal Council area to raise voter awareness for the upcoming assembly elections, urging residents to exercise their voting rights without fear.
With slogans like "Batoge To Katoge" (Divided We Fall), the VHP organized a public outreach effort across the Jugsalai region, aiming to increase voter turnout on election day, November 13. During the drive, volunteers distributed pamphlets and toured neighborhoods with musical accompaniments, encouraging people to leave their homes and vote.
VHP representative Arun Singh emphasized the importance of voter participation in Hindu-majority areas, where turnout has historically been low. "Often, voters in these areas remain inactive on election day," Singh stated. "Our aim is to awaken them to the importance of voting, encouraging them to support parties working in the national interest." The VHP hopes to see a significant increase in voter turnout through this awareness campaign.
