JAMSHEDPUR – Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha urged voters in Jamshedpur West to support independent candidate Saryu Roy, citing his reputation for integrity and dedication to transparency.
During a recent public address, Sinha accused Jharkhand’s Health Minister and Congress candidate Banna Gupta of corruption, alleging that Gupta has misused public funds and hindered progress. Sinha encouraged voters to elect Roy, who is running on a cylinder symbol, in order to bring clean governance to the constituency.

The Deputy Chief Minister also highlighted the growing influence of illegal mining operations in Jharkhand, which he attributed to an unchecked "mafia nexus" within the state. Sinha emphasized the need for dedicated representatives like Roy to dismantle this system. According to Sinha, Jharkhand lags in law and order compared to Bihar, where a "double-engine government" has successfully curbed crime and boosted development.
In a press conference, Sinha extended his criticism to the Congress Party, alleging its deep-seated involvement in corruption and accusing it of undermining democracy. He argued that the NDA government is essential for restoring governance, ensuring citizen safety, and enhancing quality of life in Jharkhand.
