MEDININAGAR – Union Church clinched the overall champion title with 380 points at Medininagar’s Sunday School Annual Festival, held on Sunday.
The festival, inaugurated by church leaders including Dr. Jaywant Lakra and Prabhu Ranjan Masi, celebrated the efforts of Sunday schools across various churches, with competitions in group and solo songs, art, and a Bible quiz.
Union Church excelled in the Bible quiz, group song, and other categories, securing the top spot. The competition included participants from churches like RC Church, CNI Church, CGM Church, and Mennonite Church, displaying talents in various events.
In the Bible quiz, Union Church won first place, followed by Mennonite Church and CNI Church in second and third places, respectively. Participants from Mennonite Church and CGM Church also earned accolades in group and solo song events. Meanwhile, art contest winners included students like Akanksha from CNI Church and Priyel from Union Church.
