JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel’s Jharia Division achieves national recognition with prestigious Five Star Ratings for its underground mining operations.

The awards ceremony took place at SCOPE Convention Centre, New Delhi.

Moreover, Jamadoba Colliery claimed the third position nationally.

Meanwhile, Sijua Colliery received the Achiever Prize.

The recognition covers the 2022-23 assessment period.

Furthermore, Coal Minister G. Kishan Reddy presented the awards.

Sanjay Rajoria and Kousik Gayen accepted the honors.

In addition, four collieries maintained their winning tradition.
