RSB Global Organizes Mega Blood Donation Camp, Zonal IG Akhilesh Jha Encourages Donors

JAMSHEDPUR – A grand blood donation camp was organized at RSB Global’s Gamharia plant on September 28, 2024, aimed at addressing the blood shortage in society and raising awareness about the importance of blood donation.

Zonal IG of Police Akhilesh Jha, the chief guest, commended the "Blood Warriors" for their contribution, emphasizing that "a single blood donation can save three lives and is also beneficial for the donor’s health."

Jha lauded RSB Global for its commitment to social service, calling the event a powerful example of corporate responsibility.

In addition to the blood donation camp, Jha participated in a tree plantation ceremony at the plant, further supporting environmental conservation efforts.

The camp was attended by several notable figures, including RSB Global’s Vice Chairman and Managing Director S.K. Behera, union leader Rakeshwar Pandey, and local police station in-charge Rajeev Singh, alongside other dignitaries and company officials.

RSB Global, known for its strong corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, frequently organizes community-focused activities such as blood donation drives and environmental conservation efforts across its plants on a rotational basis.

During his visit to Gamharia, IG Jha also addressed law and order concerns with local residents and officials in the Adityapur industrial area.

This successful blood donation camp, organized in collaboration with VBDA and Jamshedpur Blood Bank Society, collected over 512 units of blood from 639 registered donors, sending a vital message that donating blood is a noble act that saves lives while promoting better health.
