Cultural Celebration Highlights Linguistic Diversity at Tech Institute

JAMSHEDPUR – National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur celebrated the conclusion of Hindi Fortnight 2024, showcasing the institution’s commitment to linguistic diversity.

The closing ceremony of Hindi Fortnight 2024 at National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur marked a significant milestone in the institution’s cultural calendar.

Deputy Director Professor Ram Vinay Sharma honored the chief guest, Professor SBL Saxena, with a shawl and bouquet, setting a tone of respect and appreciation for the event.

Professor Niranjan Kumar, chair of the Hindi Committee, expressed gratitude to the institute’s administration for their support in organizing the fortnight-long celebration.

Dr. Rajat Tripathi, a member of the Hindi Committee, provided a comprehensive overview of the various activities conducted during the fortnight and announced the winners of different competitions.

The event saw participation from a diverse group of attendees, including faculty members, staff, and students.

Notable dignitaries present included Registrar Colonel (Dr.) Nisith Kumar Ray, Professor Ramayan Singh, Professor Prabha Chand, and several other esteemed faculty members.

Student representatives Priyanshu Yadav, Rohit Shukla, and others from the first and second years also graced the occasion with their presence.

The ceremony recognized the winners of various competitions held from September 14 to 27, awarding them with cash prizes, emblems, and certificates of appreciation.
