JAMSHEDPUR – Bharatiya Jantantra Morcha’s District President Subodh Srivastava has denounced the alleged burning of MLA Saryu Roy’s effigies by Congress members.

Srivastava claims these actions were orchestrated under Health Minister Banna Gupta’s directives.

Moreover, he accused the involved parties of spreading false allegations in the constituency.

The BJM leader highlighted a pending case involving Munna Singh’s arrest for assaulting a tribal woman.

He alleged that police inaction in the case was due to the involvement of individuals close to the minister.

Furthermore, Srivastava refuted claims linking Munna Singh and Saryu Roy by caste.

He emphasized that Singh, from a marginalized community, received court relief based on merit.

The BJM president praised MLA Roy’s contributions to the tribal community in Jamshedpur East.

He stated that Roy’s work in the past three years surpassed efforts made in the previous three decades.

Additionally, Srivastava urged the community not to be misled by what he termed political conspiracies.

He announced that Saryu Roy would address these issues with the public upon his return.

Meanwhile, the BJM leader warned of potential measures against these politically motivated actions.

Srivastava’s statement, issued on Thursday, aimed to counter the allegations against the Jamshedpur East MLA.

He called for a fair assessment of Roy’s work and contributions to the constituency.

The BJM’s strong defense of Roy highlights the political tensions in Jamshedpur East.

Moreover, it underscores the ongoing rivalry between different political factions in the region.

Srivastava’s accusations against the Health Minister add another layer to the local political discourse.

The situation reflects the complex dynamics of local politics in Jamshedpur and surrounding areas.

As the controversy unfolds, it remains to be seen how other political parties will respond.

The BJM’s stance sets the stage for potential further political developments in Jamshedpur East.
