JAMSHEDPUR – Sikh leaders demand an apology from Rahul Gandhi for his controversial US remarks, while commending PM Modi’s initiatives for the community.

Prominent Sikh leaders gathered today to express their strong disapproval of Rahul Gandhi’s recent statements in America.

Moreover, they highlighted the Congress party’s history of offending the Sikh community.

The leaders cited Operation Blue Star and the 1984 anti-Sikh riots as particularly troubling examples.

In contrast, they praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his efforts to honor and respect Sikhs.

The Sikh representatives emphasized Modi’s initiatives, including the declaration of Veer Bal Diwas on December 26.

Furthermore, they commended the opening of the Kartarpur Sahib corridor as a significant gesture.

The leaders also appreciated Modi’s efforts in transporting the holy Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji from Afghanistan.

Additionally, they noted the worldwide celebration of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s 550th birth anniversary under Modi’s leadership.

"The Congress party’s actions have repeatedly hurt our community," stated a leader at the press conference.

However, the Sikh leaders called for an official apology from Rahul Gandhi for his recent comments.

They believe these remarks further inflame historical grievances.

On the other hand, the press conference saw attendance from various prominent Sikh figures.

Gurvinder Singh Sethi and Navjot Singh Alang Rubal were among those present.

Harvinder Singh Bedi and Gagandeep Singh Sethi also participated in the event.

Moreover, Tejendra Singh from Hatia Gurudwara joined the gathering.

Other attendees included Charanjit Singh, Jagjit Singh, and Ranjit Singh Bittu.

Ashmit Singh Sethi and Maninder Singh rounded out the list of notable participants.
