BJP Parliamentary Board Decides CM Candidate: Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Chouhan previews visit, discusses Jharkhand politics and development

Key Points:

• Modi to gift 3 Vande Bharat trains to Jharkhand on September 15

• PM to disburse first installment for 113,195 housing scheme beneficiaries

• BJP’s parliamentary board to decide CM candidate for upcoming state polls

JAMSHEDPUR – Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Jamshedpur on September 15, bringing significant development initiatives to Jharkhand.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan, a senior BJP leader, arrived in Jamshedpur on Sunday to oversee preparations for the Prime Minister’s visit.

The former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister shared insights about Modi’s upcoming trip and Jharkhand’s political landscape.

Chouhan revealed that Modi will inaugurate three Vande Bharat trains for the state.

This move aims to enhance regional connectivity and foster economic growth.

Additionally, the Prime Minister will release the first installment of funds for over 113,000 housing scheme beneficiaries.

When questioned about the BJP’s chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming Jharkhand assembly elections, Chouhan remained noncommittal.

"Our party’s parliamentary board will determine the face of our election campaign," he stated.

A local BJP leader commented, "This visit by the PM could be a game-changer for BJP’s prospects in Jharkhand."

Chouhan’s Jamshedpur Tour

The Union Agriculture Minister conducted a thorough review of the Prime Minister’s event preparations.

He emphasized the democratic nature of the BJP’s ticket distribution process.

"In our party, everyone has the opportunity to vie for a ticket," Chouhan asserted.

This approach aims to foster inclusivity and grassroots participation within the party ranks.

Chouhan also inspected the ongoing booth-level campaign in Ranchi before heading to Jamshedpur.

A party worker shared, "His visit has energized our cadre and boosted our morale."

Development Initiatives and Political Landscape

Modi’s visit is expected to bring projects worth approximately 21,000 crore rupees to Jharkhand.

Chouhan criticized the current I.N.D.I alliance government in the state.

"While we focus on progress, they’re pushing Jharkhand towards decline," he claimed.

This statement highlights the growing political rivalry for support in the region.

Chouhan praised former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee for creating Jharkhand as a separate state.

He added, "Now, PM Modi is establishing new dimensions of development here."

A local BJP leader remarked, "These projects could significantly impact Jharkhand’s economic trajectory."

As Jamshedpur prepares for the high-profile visit, expectations are high for announcements that could shape the state’s future.
