Top official inspects emergency services, cybercrime unit during launch event
Jamshedpur authorities have introduced a groundbreaking initiative aimed at enhancing security for women in the city.
JAMSHEDPUR – A high-ranking police official inaugurated a novel women’s safety program in Jamshedpur, while also evaluating local law enforcement operations.
The South Chhota Nagpur Range’s Inspector General conducted a comprehensive assessment of the city’s cybercrime unit.
Senior law enforcement figures accompanied the IG during his inspection of police facilities.
The top official provided guidance to improve the department’s ability to combat digital crimes.
"We’re taking concrete steps to safeguard our female citizens," the IG remarked during the event.
He expressed hope that this pilot project could potentially be implemented across the region.
The IG stressed the importance of protecting vulnerable populations while maintaining vigilance against criminal elements.
He commended the local force for their swift responses to emergency calls.
"We’re working to upgrade our emergency response system to better serve the public," the IG stated, discussing plans to enhance the current setup.
The senior official addressed the evolving nature of cybercrimes and the challenges they pose to law enforcement.
"We’re allocating specialized personnel to tackle the rising threat of online criminal activities," he explained.
The IG’s visit commenced with a formal welcome ceremony attended by high-ranking local police officials.
