Kendukocha Residents Challenge Road Construction Quality

BJP Leader Steps In as Locals Protest Use of Substandard Materials

Community uproar over MLA-funded paver block road project in Mango area highlights concerns about public fund utilization and construction standards.

JAMSHEDPUR – A paver block road construction project in Kendukocha, Sankosi, has come under fire from local residents who claim substandard materials are being used.

The project, funded through the MLA’s development fund, faces criticism for allegedly using soil dust instead of sand beneath the paver blocks.

Residents’ attempts to address the issue with the contractor were reportedly dismissed, escalating community frustration.

Concerned citizens sought help from BJP leader Vikash Singh, who inspected the site and filed a complaint with the Deputy Municipal Commissioner.

Singh stressed the importance of using proper materials to ensure road durability and prevent easy breakage of paver blocks.

The BJP leader warned against misuse of public funds and hinted at possible street protests if construction quality doesn’t improve.

Local authorities now face pressure to address the situation and ensure proper utilization of development funds.

The incident has sparked discussions about transparency and quality control in public infrastructure projects.

Residents await the Municipal Corporation’s response and potential corrective actions for the ongoing construction work.
