BJP Intensifies Campaign Against JMM Alliance in Jharkhand

Union Minister Shivraj Chouhan Raises Alarm Over Demographic Changes and Governance Issues

Pre-election rhetoric heats up as BJP leader criticizes Soren government’s performance and warns of potential threats to indigenous population.

JAMSHEDPUR – Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, spearheading BJP’s campaign in Jharkhand, has launched a scathing attack on the JMM-led alliance government.

Chouhan warned that re-electing the JMM alliance could lead to indigenous people becoming a minority in Jharkhand.

The BJP leader alleged that infiltrators from Bangladesh were marrying tribal women to acquire land, threatening the native population.

"If unchecked, this infiltration could irreversibly alter Jharkhand’s demographic landscape," Chouhan cautioned during a press briefing.

Governance and Corruption Allegations

The Union Minister accused the Hemant Soren government of widespread corruption and unfulfilled promises.

He highlighted the administration’s failure to create jobs, provide unemployment allowances, and offer financial support to women.

Chouhan alleged rampant illegal mineral and sand extraction, claiming, "The plunder is so severe that entire hills have disappeared from the landscape."

Law and Order Situation

Expressing concern over deteriorating law and order, Chouhan cited alarming crime statistics from the past four and a half years.

He referenced NCRB data, stating, "7,812 murders, 7,115 rapes, 6,937 kidnappings, and over 2.7 lakh crimes against the government have occurred under this administration."

BJP’s Promise for Jharkhand

Chouhan asserted that only the BJP could rescue Jharkhand from its current situation and ensure prosperity.

He promised to create opportunities that would negate the need for residents to migrate for better prospects.

As Jharkhand prepares for assembly polls later this year, these statements signal an intensification of BJP’s campaign strategy.
