Jamshedpur Civil Court and Ghatsila Sub-Divisional Court Timings Changed

Court timings in Jamshedpur and Ghatsila to shift back to daytime hours from June 24.

Starting June 24, the Jamshedpur Civil Court and Ghatsila Sub-Divisional Court will operate from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm, as per a new notification from the Jharkhand High Court.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Jharkhand High Court has announced a change in the timings for the Jamshedpur Civil Court and Ghatsila Sub-Divisional Court. Effective from Monday, June 24, court operations will shift to daytime hours, running from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm.

This adjustment comes in response to the changing weather conditions. During the summer season, starting April 1, the court had been operating in the morning hours to provide relief from the heat.

Chief Justice Anil Kumar Mishra-One issued a press release confirming the new schedule, stating, "Court work will proceed from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm from Monday. Officials are required to report for duty at 10:00 am and work until 5:00 pm."

This seasonal adjustment in court timings aims to offer convenience to both clients and lawyers. The change back to regular daytime hours will take place as the weather improves.
