TSAF Cadets Shine at National Bouldering Competition, Win Eight Medals

Tata Steel Adventure Foundation Athletes Excel in Lonavala with Four Gold and Four Bronze Medals

Cadets from Tata Steel Adventure Foundation’s (TSAF) Sport Climbing Academy showcased their talent by winning eight medals at the Open National Bouldering Competition held in Lonavala on May 24-25.

JAMSHEDPUR – The cadets from TSAF Sport Climbing Academy achieved an impressive feat at the Open National Bouldering Competition in Lonavala, bringing home a total of eight medals. Their outstanding performance earned them four Gold medals and four Bronze medals.

Over 150 athletes from all over the country came together to compete in the competition. They showcased their skills in four distinct categories: Open, Youth A, Youth B, and Kids, with both males and females participating.

A group of 40 athletes from TSAF Sport Climbing Academy’s different grassroots centers took part in the event.

The TSAF Sport Climbing Academy, with the support of Tata Steel Foundation and JCAPCPL, has played a crucial role in nurturing these athletes from the grassroots level.

The team was joined by six dedicated coaches from the grassroots, a skilled Strength & Conditioning coach, a knowledgeable nutritionist, and an efficient office admin from TSAF Sport Climbing Academy.

The team left for Lonavala on May 22 and is scheduled to come back on May 28.
