A 33-year-old man from Bhadrak, Odisha, visiting his relative in Kalpanapuri under Adityapur police station, Seraikela Kharsawan district, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself.

JAMSHEDPUR – A 33-year-old man from Bhadrak, Odisha, visiting his relative in Kalpanapuri, Adityapur, reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself.

The deceased, who arrived two days ago, was found hanging at the residence.

Police were informed and took the body into custody, sending it for post-mortem examination.

According to reports, the man had a bank loan of approximately Rs 2 lakh, causing him significant stress.

The man’s brother, Shivanand Malik, confirmed that the deceased had hanged himself with a rope.

The body was sent for post-mortem from the mortuary of MGM Hospital.

Currently, the police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The financial burden is believed to be a major factor in the suicide.

Family members and relatives are in shock over the tragic incident.

Authorities are looking into the details of the loan and other possible reasons behind the stress.
