JBVNL Introduces WhatsApp Service for Jharkhand Electricity Consumers

Electricity Issues in Jharkhand Now Solvable via WhatsApp, Thanks to New JBVNL Initiative

Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (JBVNL) has announced a new service that allows electricity consumers in Jharkhand to handle their utility concerns through WhatsApp.

JAMSHEDPUR – JBVNL has rolled out a customer-friendly initiative enabling Jharkhand’s electricity consumers to resolve their service issues from the comfort of their homes via WhatsApp.

This move comes as part of JBVNL’s agreement with Gupshup Technology India Private Limited, a Meta-owned chatbot software company.

Gupshup Technology has experience working with electricity companies in Madhya Pradesh and other states, providing similar services.

The service was delayed due to technical difficulties in uploading necessary data but is set to launch on May 1.

From that date, consumers will be able to receive their electricity bills and inquire about dues directly through WhatsApp messages.
