JAMSHEDPUR – After 13 years, a court acquitted three individuals accused of embezzling school funds, citing insufficient evidence.
The founder expressed his relief, emphasizing the absence of wrongdoing on his part and asserting that justice has been served.
The court’s inability to find substantial evidence led to the acquittal of the accused, including the school’s founder, a teacher, and an accountant.
Allegations of financial irregularities arose from an audit, suggesting misappropriation of Rs 19,600 from the school’s account.
The three accused, involved with the Adivasi Jankalyan Samiti High School in Ulidih, Mango, were cleared of embezzlement charges by Judicial Magistrate Alok Kumar.
