Youth Dies in Auto-Truck Crash, Another Injured on Seraikela-Kandra Road
A serious accident on the Seraikela-Kandra road involving an uncontrolled truck and a passenger auto resulted in a fatality and critical injuries.
SERAIKELA – A catastrophic event unfolded on Saturday evening on the Seraikela-Kandra road when a truck collided with a passenger auto, causing immediate fatality and severe injuries.
The collision, occurring between Jeevanpur-Saldih, led to the death of a young man, Ishaad, aged 27, from Chandrapur, at the scene.
Another individual, Jabir, 37, sustained critical injuries and has been rushed to Sadar Hospital for urgent care.
The two youths, residents of Seraikela, were traveling by auto when the incident with the truck, bearing the number OD 05 AD- 9175 and coming from Kandra, happened.
In response to the accident, locals have blockaded the Seraikela-Kandra road, expressing their outrage.
Seraikela police were promptly informed and have proceeded to the scene, though the road blockade remained in place as of the latest updates.
