Chandil police apprehend main suspects in high-profile Jamshedpur murder investigation

Significant breakthrough in Jyoti Agarwal murder case with arrests and evidence recovery by Chandil police.

JAMSHEDPUR – Chandil police have arrested the main suspects in the murder case of Jyoti Agarwal, advancing the investigation significantly.

Vishal Prasad alias Vishal Kalindi and Prakash alias Bonda alias Shankar Devgan were apprehended in Mazgaon, West Singhbhum, and have been jailed.

The arrests were announced by SDPO Sunil Kumar Rajwar during a press conference at the Chandil Sub-Divisional Police Officer’s office.

Jyoti Agarwal was murdered on the night of March 29 on NH 33, with her father initially accusing his son-in-law, Ravi Agarwal.

Ravi Agarwal, along with three others, was arrested on April 1, followed swiftly by the apprehension of the main shooter, Vishal, and his associate, Prakash.

Recovered items from the suspects include an iron silver-colored pistol, a cartridge, and two smartphones.

The suspects were located near the Hanuman temple in Babudih Lalbhatta, under Sidhgora police station’s jurisdiction.

The operation involved a comprehensive team, highlighting the collaborative effort to address this high-profile case.
