Procession to feature 21 pandits, Matri Shakti, and various tableaux showcasing Hindu culture
The Hindu Utsav Committee has decided to organize a grand New Year Yatra from Mango Gandhi Maidan this year, following a well-attended meeting held at Mango Hanuman Temple, which saw a large number of Mango residents and city dwellers come together to discuss the event.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Hindu Utsav Committee will organize a grand New Year Yatra from Mango Gandhi Maidan this year.
The procession, which is expected to be a historic affair, will commence with 21 excellent pandits starting the New Year Yatra with Shankhnaad, followed by a large number of Matri Shakti leading the yatra in traditional attire.
"A large number of Hindu followers from entire Jharkhand and the bordering Odisha and West Bengal will also participate in this yatra," said Raviprakash Singh, Chairman of the Hindu Utsav Committee.
Raviprakash Singh emphasized the significance of Gandhi Maidan, stating, "Gandhi Maidan is the only ground in Mango from where the New Year Yatra will be taken out," adding that the ground holds a special place in their hearts as a memory of Gandhiji and that it would be convenient for the administration to organize the yatra from there.
Route and highlights of the yatra
The yatra will begin from Mango Gandhi Maidan and conclude at Sakchi Subhash Maidan, making it a historic journey.
"This journey will be historic. Many types of tableaux will also be included in this year’s journey in which Shri Ram Darbar, glimpse of Hindu culture, Bharat Mata’s chariot etc. will be seen enhancing the beauty of the journey," Raviprakash Singh said.
Appeal for participation
On behalf of the Hindu Utsav Committee, Raviprakash Singh appealed to all Hindu brothers and sisters to participate in the New Year Yatra. The meeting was attended by several prominent members of the committee and the community, including Kanhaiya Singh, Dashrath Choubey, Professor Rajiv Kumar, Mrityunjay Singh, ex-serviceman Rajiv, and a large number of youth.
