Ananta Quest Celebrates Inclusivity in Tech and Business

Tata Steel awards IIM Trichy, IIT Madras, and IIT Kharagpur teams in Ananta Quest’s inaugural competition

Tata Steel’s Ananta Quest recognizes top teams from IIM Trichy, IIT Madras, and IIT Kharagpur for their innovative solutions.

JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel has concluded the first edition of Ananta Quest, a unique case study competition aimed at students with disabilities from India’s leading technology and business schools.

The competition witnessed IIM Trichy’s Team Alchemist taking the top honor, followed by Team Madras from IIT Madras and Team Universe from IIT Kharagpur and ISM Dhanbad.

A prize distribution ceremony in Jamshedpur marked the finale, celebrating the achievements of the winners with cash prizes and offering internship or pre-placement interviews at Tata Steel.

Atrayee Sanyal, VP of Human Resource Management at Tata Steel, lauded the event’s success and its role in promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Ananta Quest attracted over 550 registrations and 160 case submissions, highlighting the enthusiasm of students across the country to participate.

The case studies focused on Sustainability, Marketing & Sales, Human Resources, and Corporate Strategy, showcasing a wide range of innovative ideas and solutions.

The jury, comprising Tata Steel’s senior leadership, assessed entries based on problem analysis, solution creativity, and potential business impact.

Tata Steel’s dedication to diversity and inclusion is evident through its MOSAIC initiative and the goal to achieve 25% workforce diversity by 2025.

Ananta Quest has successfully bridged the gap between academia and industry, providing a platform for talented students with disabilities to shine.
