JAMSHEDPUR – The prompt response of the Sakchi police station to a Home Guard jawan’s report led to the arrest of an individual engaged in narcotics distribution within MGM Hospital’s premises.
The man, caught with 20 packets of brown sugar, was identified as the sanitation supervisor for JNAC, residing in Govindpur Sheshnagar. This incident exposed the misuse of hospital environments for drug transactions.
In his haste to evade capture, the suspect inadvertently scattered packets of brown sugar, pivotal in his subsequent arrest at the facility.
The initial encounter that triggered the pursuit occurred near the hospital’s primary entry, where the suspect, wearing a helmet, was confronted by the Home Guard. This attempt to flee deep into the hospital initiated an intense chase.
