Giridih District Road Accident Sparks Outrage, Villagers Demand Compensation for Victim’s Family

In a tragic accident in Giridih, a villager’s death caused by a bike leads to public outcry and road blockades, with demands for compensation and legal action.

GIRIDIH – The death of a villager after being hit by a bike in Bengabad, Giridih district, has ignited widespread anger and protests.

The police took control of the bullet involved in the incident and are searching for the driver who fled the scene.

Legal actions are being prepared against the individual responsible for the accident, with promises of compensation to the bereaved family.

The community’s demands were eventually met with assurances from the administration, leading to the clearance of the blockade around 11:30 am.

Earlier, the victim, Congress Das, a 30-year-old resident of Shridaranga village, had just moved to Dumarjor village and was returning home with his wife when the tragedy occurred.

Following the fatal accident, villagers expressed their outrage by blocking the NH main road near Chapuadih, causing significant traffic delays.

A blockade caused by protestors led to extensive traffic jams, reflecting the community’s grief and demand for justice.

Authorities responded to the scene, working to alleviate the congestion and address the villagers’ concerns.
