Exclusive Trains for Ayodhya Consecration, Jharkhand to Witness Boost
With the historic inauguration of the Ayodhya Ram temple and the consecration of Ramlala on January 22, a surge in train services from Jharkhand is expected, catering to the massive influx of devotees.
RANCHI – A senior official from the South-Eastern Railway Headquarters has revealed that a proposal for a new train service from Jharkhand to Ayodhya has been forwarded to the Railway Board.
The proposed route, stretching from Tata to Ayodhya, will encompass several major cities including Rourkela, Hatia, Ranchi, Muri, Bokaro, Gaya, and DDU (Mughalsarai).
Decisions on the train’s schedule and commencement date are anticipated soon, with expectations of operations beginning by the end of January, post the consecration event.
This initiative follows the high demand for train seats to Ayodhya, as a large number of devotees are eager to witness the grand event.
The government plans to run approximately 500 special trains from various parts of the country to accommodate the influx of pilgrims.
In Jharkhand, multiple trains are being arranged to facilitate the travel of locals to the consecration ceremony.
Invitations have been extended to eminent personalities across various fields including politics, sports, education, literature, science, and spirituality.
The significance of this event is heightened by the numerous devotees embarking on foot journeys to partake in the grand ceremony in Ayodhya.
