Tribute Paid to Slain Tiger Mobile Jawan in Emotional Ceremony
Martyred Tiger Mobile jawan Ramdev Mahato receives guard of honor at Golmuri Police Lines; top officials and community mourn loss.
JAMSHEDPUR – The mortal remains of Tiger Mobile jawan Ramdev Mahato, martyred in a confrontation with criminals in Mango, Jamshedpur, were brought to Golmuri Police Lines on Saturday.
A poignant guard of honor was conducted, with Mahato’s remains being garlanded.
Kolhan DIG Ajay Linda, Jamshedpur Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri, and other senior officials were present.
The ceremony was marked by an air of solemnity and respect.
Ramdev’s body will be taken to his native village in Manoharpur, Chaibasa, for the final rites, with villagers participating in the procession.
Kolhan DIG Ajay Linda remarked on the irreplaceable loss of a brave policeman.
SSP Kishore Kaushal pledged swift provision of governmental benefits to Ramdev’s family and vowed to apprehend the perpetrators.
Members of the Jharkhand Police Men’s Association emphasized the need for strong action against the culprits.
The incident occurred as Ramdev intervened in an attack on Sajjad alias Tanda by criminals.
Shot in the chest during the encounter, Ramdev succumbed to his injuries at TMH.
