Tragic Mishap in Turiabeda: Niranjan Hansda Drowns While Bathing, Leaves Family in Mourning
A class 10 student, Niranjan Hansda, tragically lost his life due to drowning in Swarn Rekha River, causing grief among family and villagers.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a tragic incident, a young man named Niranjan Hansda drowned in the Swarnrekha river in Turiabeda, under the jurisdiction of the MDM police station in Jamshedpur.
The unfortunate event occurred on Thursday morning when Hansda, a student of class ten, went to take a bath in the river along with his friends.
During this time, he slipped and was carried away by the river’s current into deeper waters.
Upon learning of the incident, his friends immediately informed the family members and villagers, who rushed to the scene.
Despite frantic efforts to rescue him, by the time Hansda was pulled out of the river and taken to MGM Hospital, he was declared dead by the medical professionals.
The incident has cast a pall of gloom over the family, who are now grappling with this devastating loss.
