Swarnrekha River Recovery of Child’s Drowned Body in Jamshedpur

7-year-old child’s drowned body found in Mango’s river; tragic end to search.

JAMSHEDPUR – After a lot of efforts the rescuers succeeded in taking out the dead body of 7-year-old boy Laxman Machhua from the Swarnrekha river in Mango.

Earlier today, Laxman’s body was traced in Swarnrekha river in Mango.

Despite extensive searching with the help of local fishermen, no information was found about the young boy after he drowned.

He had been bathing in the river on Thursday when the tragic incident occurred.

A resident of Jaiprakash Nagar in Kadma, Laxman was near Shastri Nagar block number 5 under Kadma police station when he drowned in the Kharkai river.

The dead body was later recovered from the Swarnrekha river near Mango Gour Basti, and the local people were the ones to alert the police.

On receiving the information, relatives reached the spot and identified the body.
