JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur FC won their second match in the Durand Cup 2023 on Thursday scoring their first win.
They defeated the Indian Navy Football Team 1-0.
Ashley Koli scored the winning goal in the 70th minute.
Lalriathpuia Chawngthu missed a penalty for Jamshedpur FC in the 39th minute.
The first half ended with no goals for either team.
Asem Maingou Singh missed an opportunity for Jamshedpur FC in the 55th minute.
Pallujam Rohan Singh stopped a counter attack by the Indian Navy team.
Jamshedpur FC goalkeeper Ayush Jena was replaced by Mohit Singh Dhami in the 57th minute due to injury.
Jamshedpur FC will play against Mohammedan Sporting in their next match on August 20th.
