Jamshedpur Women’s University Highlights Sanskrit Opportunities

The Sanskrit department at Jamshedpur Women’s University offers female students a multitude of career options, from teaching to public service, according to Vice-chancellor Anjila Gupta.

JAMSHEDPUR – Female students aspiring to become teachers will find the Sanskrit course extremely beneficial, as the subject is being widely included in the curricula of schools in Hindi-speaking regions.

According to the hypothesis, Sanskrit is listed as a contemporary Indian language in the eighth schedule of the Indian Constitution.

The disciplines focusing on Sanskrit provide employment prospects in fields such as the teaching field, religious leaders in the army, UPSC, various state public service commissions, and the Archaeological Department.

Vice-chancellor Anjila Gupta underscored the significance of the Sanskrit language, stating that "after studying the Sanskrit subject in the university, multi-faceted options are available to the girl students in the modern context."

Apart from the university, Jamshedpur city’s colleges and schools are host to female students from all the far-flung rural and metropolitan areas, who both study and teach there.
