Jamshedpur Police Launch Reward Initiative for Case Investigators

Jamshedpur SSP has started a reward initiative for investigators, offering up to Rs 25,000 for quick case resolution and convicting the accused.

JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur SSP Prabhat Kumar has launched a new scheme to reward investigators.

Under this initiative, rewards ranging from Rs 10 to Rs 25,000 have been announced for those who quickly solve cases and secure convictions for the accused.

The scheme was launched on Friday.

On July 5, ASI Gurdial Singh Munda, who successfully secured punishment for two accused in the Tata company theft case within 35 days, was honored by the SP with a ₹5000 cash prize and a citation.

The court imposed a three-year sentence and a financial fine of two thousand rupees on both the accused.

The SSP said that a list of 42 such cases has been prepared in the district, which has been directed to be reported within a month.

The SSP added that this initiative will boost the morale of the investigators and also strengthen the faith of the people towards the police and the court.
