Advocate Booked And Jailed After Viral Video Sparks Outrage in Jamshedpur

Following a viral video of a lawyer misbehaving with people, police arrested Shriram Dubey in Jamshedpur.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a recent event that sparked public outrage, Shriram Dubey, a lawyer, was arrested after a video of him misbehaving with individuals and forcing them to perform sit-ups went viral.

This incident occurred within the old court premises in Jamshedpur.

The viral video caught the attention of local news channels and media outlets, prompting swift action from the police administration.

The individual who registered a case against Dubey is a vendor operating within the court premises.

The vendor took the matter to the Birsanagar police station, where a case was registered under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

This action resulted in the lawyer’s arrest, court appearance, and subsequent incarceration.

The police have taken this matter seriously, considering the severity of the charges.

Interestingly, Dubey also faces allegations of extortion, assault, and coercion at the Bistupur police station.

Earlier, the advocate had claimed that he had only stopped some people from drinking on the old court premises as being a lawyer he deemed it his duty to protect the sanctity of the court premises.
