Congress Leaders Criticize Government’s Silence on Manipur Event, Calls for Immediate Arrests

Leaders from the East Singhbhum District Congress Committee and Jharkhand State Youth Congress call out the government on the scandalous Manipur event and economic instability.

JAMSHEDPUR – Congress leaders, including Bablu Jha, the Vice President of the East Singhbhum District Congress Committee, and Rakesh Sahu, the general secretary of the Jharkhand State Youth Congress (YC), issued a joint statement critiquing the government’s handling of national affairs.

In the press release, they voiced their concerns about divisive politics, economic instability, and most notably, the government’s silence on a scandalous event in Manipur.

Jha mentioned the tendency for division under various names and highlighted the importance of unity under the national identity of India.

He urged acceptance of national initiatives like Skill India and Make in India, and called on the Prime Minister to address the concerns of the people in Manipur.

He also accused the ruling party, BJP, of tolerating corruption within its ranks.

In a similar vein, Sahu criticized the government for its silence on the Manipur event.

"The nation will never forgive Narendra Modi for his silence on this heinous event," he stated.

Sahu further accused the BJP of undermining democratic systems and increasing public suffering through inflation and unemployment.

The Youth Congress leader demanded the immediate arrest of all involved in the Manipur incident.
