Gamharia Circle Amin Arrested by Anti-Corruption Bureau for Bribery

The Anti-Corruption Bureau Kolhan Division arrests Gamharia Circle Amin Raj Kishore Bhagat for allegedly accepting a bribe, stirring the Divisional Office.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Kolhan Division made a significant move on Thursday by capturing Gamharia Circle Amin R K Bhagat red-handed while accepting a bribe of ten thousand rupees.

Following the arrest, the ACB team brought the accused Amin to Jamshedpur.

The case began when Manoj Kumar Singh, a resident of Motinagar in the zone, applied for a land demarcation in his wife’s name.

Despite several appeals, Amin neither proceeded with the land demarcation nor provided the required map to Singh.

In exchange for the map, Amin allegedly demanded Rs 15,000, with Singh negotiating the bribe down to ten thousand rupees.

This led Singh to report the incident to the Anti-Corruption Bureau.

Following the complaint, the ACB set a trap, and on Thursday, as Singh arrived at the circle office with the money, the bureau’s undercover team nabbed Amin while accepting the bribe.

This significant action by the ACB has caused quite a stir in the zonal office.
