Water Crisis in Mango Raises Concerns: Allegations of Corruption Surrounding Incomplete Water Tank

The ongoing water tank construction in Mango faces delays and allegations of corruption. JMM demands action against the contractor and highlights the deteriorating condition of the tank.

JAMSHEDPUR – The persistent issue of water scarcity in Mango has been intensifying with each passing day. While the state government initiated the construction of a water tank to address the drinking water needs, the project remains incomplete even after three years.

Expressing dissatisfaction with the progress, members of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) Mango Mandal visited the site to inspect the work and accused the contractor of negligence and involvement in corrupt practices.

They have lodged a formal complaint against the contractor with the Deputy Commissioner of JMM district, urging swift action.

According to the JMM leaders, the water tank is not only incomplete but also showing signs of deterioration, raising suspicions of corruption.
