JAMSHEDPUR – In a recent incident in the Gandak Road area under Sakchi police station, a group of women thieves caused a stir as they broke into a house and stole gold chains.
The homeowners, roused from their sleep by the intrusion, pursued the thieves.
After a chase of several kilometers, one of the thieves was caught by the locals while two others managed to escape.
The stolen gold jewelry was recovered from the apprehended thief.
Enraged by the audacious theft, the locals did not hold back in expressing their fury and physically assaulted the woman.
Subsequently, they handed over the thief to the police after alerting them about the incident.
