Tata Steel’s Inter-Divisional Women’s Carrom Championship concluded with great enthusiasm, witnessing participation from over 54 teams.
JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel’s Sports Department organised a successful Inter-Divisional Carrom Championship on June 23, 2023, at the JFC Media Centre, JRD Tata Sports Complex.
The championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from a total of 54 teams from 15 units of Tata Steel.
More than 54 players showcased their talent in this year’s competition.
A total of 27 matches were played.
In a display of exceptional skill and sportsmanship, the team from Tata Steel General Office Team A emerged as the winners, showcasing their prowess and determination, whereas Team A from Steel Manufacturing Division bagged the runner’s up position.
Tata Steel’s Supply Chain Division Team A emerged as the 2nd runner’s up in this championship.
To ensure fair play and adherence to the rules, the championship benefited from the expertise of renowned technical officials, including Tilak Ram, Jaswant, J Behra, Shiva, and N Das who performed their roles admirably.
Tata Steel’s commitment to promoting sports and fostering a spirit of camaraderie among its workforce was evident throughout the championship.
The event provided an excellent platform for employees to showcase their carrom skills and foster a healthy competitive spirit.
