JNAC Fines 19 for Violations, Totalling Rs 47,500

JNAC officials crack down on banned plastic, building encroachments, and unlicensed businesses, recovering Rs 47,500 in fines from 19 individuals.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a determined drive against city violations, the Special Officer of the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee has sanctioned fines totalling Rs 47,500.

This action saw 19 individuals penalized in Golmuri, Kalimati Road, Burmamines, and Sonari for using banned plastic, encroaching buildings, and running businesses without a trade license.

The team, led by city manager Ravi Bharti, has been conducting raids across the city in two shifts.

The flying squad team included in-charge tax inspector ML Das, regional revenue worker Prakash Bhagat, Dilip Barik, Krishna Ram, Ganesh Ram, Vinod Tiwari, and several home guard jawans.

JNAC flying squad members said that the drive would continue even in the coming days. They advised everyone to comply with the rules and not use banned plastic and not indulge in any activity that violates the building laws.
