Hidden for Years, Gypsy Car of Banned PLFI Leader Recovered in Khunti

Khunti police unearth a gypsy car owned by the notorious PLFI leader, Dinesh Gope, buried 10 feet underground for nearly a decade.

RANCHI – The Khunti district police made a startling discovery under the Rania police station area in Jharkhand. Acting on classified information, authorities unearthed a gypsy car buried roughly 10 feet below ground.

The vehicle has been identified as belonging to Dinesh Gope, the leader of the banned extremist organization People’s Liberation Front of India (PLFI).

This gypsy was buried eight to nine years ago in a forest near Vidya Vihar Public School, reportedly at the instruction of Gope himself.

Gope, who had a bounty of 30 lakhs on his head, is currently under police custody.

Despite the extraordinary nature of the find, the reasons behind burying the gypsy car remain unclear.

The vehicle was retrieved using heavy excavation equipment following the receipt of secret information by the Khunti Superintendent of Police.

Police sources hinted that this significant discovery is a blow to the PLFI leader and provides valuable insights into the secretive operations of the banned group and would also help the police in prosecuting the naxal leader.
