Disturbing Domestic Violence Incident in Sitaramdera; Courageous Onlooker Suffers Injury

In a shocking case of domestic abuse in Sitaramdera, a bystander gets hurt while preventing an attack on a woman.

Jamshedpur – An alarming act of domestic violence was reported near New Court in the Sitaramdera area, where Iti Pradhan was allegedly targeted by her spouse, L Pradhan, with a chopping knife.

Iti managed to escape without any injuries. However, a courageous onlooker, Jaspal Singh Kohli, got injured while attempting to prevent the assault, suffering a gash on his cheek.

Iti quickly alerted the authorities about the incident, resulting in their immediate arrival at the crime scene.

The injured Jaspal was rushed to MGM Hospital for medical care.

According to Iti, she has been in a 15-year marriage with L Pradhan, marked by persistent harassment from her spouse.

In the past, she had lodged a harassment complaint, but her husband persuaded her to withdraw it after his bail plea was turned down.

According to Iti, currently jobless, L Pradhan has been attempting to take control of Iti’s profitable cake baking business and evict her from their shared home.

The attack transpired when Iti visited their home to retrieve her possessions.

According to her, L Pradhan launched a knife attack on her, but Jaspal, who was visiting his maternal uncle’s house in the vicinity, stepped in bravely to protect her, suffering injuries himself.

The Sitaramdera police are investigating the incident.

The incident has caused shock and surprise in the area.
