JNAC Flying Squad Clears Roadside Encroachments, Collects Rs INR 27,000 as Fines in Jamshedpur

Under the orders of the Deputy Commissioner, East Singhbhum, road safety measures are enforced, leading to the removal of encroachments and imposition of fines.

Jamshedpur: JNAC flying squad conducted an anti-encroachment drive in different areas under the jurisdiction of JNAC, including Sakchi, Kadma, Sonari and Bistupur, on Wednesday.

The squad removed illegal roadside encroachments and also collected Rs. 27 thousand as penalty from at least 7 persons who were found violating rules.

The drive was conducted on the orders of the Deputy Commissioner, East Singhbhum.

In a recent road safety meeting the DC had issued instructions to clear roadside encroachments.

The flying squad took decisive action in various areas, including Sakchi, Kadma, Sonari Bistupur on Wednesday..

As per the instructions of the Special Officer, the squad removed road encroachments and imposed fines, in an effort to ensure safer roads and better traffic management.

The operation resulted in the recovery of INR 27,000 in fines from a total of seven individuals during the removal of encroachments on Straight Mile Road.

This successful operation underscores the local government’s commitment to maintaining public order and ensuring road safety.

The flying squad, led by the city manager, included regional revenue workers Prakash Bhagat, Binod Tiwari, Krishna Ram, and Ganesh Ram.

The concerted action of the team contributed to the effectiveness of the operation, signaling a clear message to those flouting rules and regulations.
