Investigation Underway Following Disappearance of Two Minor Girls in Chakradharpur, Church Pastor Accused

Two minor girls go missing in Chakradharpur, sparking serious allegations against a church pastor. Accusations of persuasion and conversion bring focus to the case.

Chakradharpur: A case involving the disappearance of two minor tribal girls from the Railway Colony quarter of Chakradharpur is gaining attention.

The case is of particular concern due to allegations against a church pastor, accused of being involved in the girls’ disappearance and potential conversion.

The girls’ family has lodged a complaint against the pastor at the Chakradharpur police station, prompting an immediate investigation into the matter.

According to the girls’ mother, her daughters, aged 15 and 17, disappeared from their home terrace around 9 pm on Monday, May 8.

Despite thorough search efforts, the girls remain missing.

The mother suspects involvement of one Raju, a pastor from a Christian missionary church in Jamshedpur, accusing him of luring her daughters and influencing them to convert to Christianity.

The mother alleges that he had been persuading her daughters to adopt Christianity for the past year, promising various benefits upon conversion.

Over time, she noticed a change in her daughters’ behavior towards her, which increased her suspicion.

Acting swiftly, the police have taken the allegations seriously and launched an investigation. Raids are currently underway to locate the missing girls.

Chakradharpur police station in-charge, Chandrashekhar Kumar, confirmed that an FIR has been lodged and the police are working diligently to find the girls.

The investigation is considering all available information and potential angles related to the case.
