Young man shot in leg after dispute at Jamshedpur hotel; police reviewing CCTV to identify suspects. Victim stable at TMH Hospital.
Jamshedpur – A young man was shot in the leg following a dispute between two parties outside a hotel in Kewal Basti, under the jurisdiction of Golmuri police station in Jamshedpur.
The incident, which occurred late at night, led to chaos in the surrounding area as the gunshot rang out.
The victim, identified as Roshan Singh from Kadma, was reportedly involved in the dispute that began after consuming food and drinks at the hotel.
As the argument escalated and the criminals opened fire, Singh ran back into the hotel for cover, but was struck by a bullet in the leg.
Witnesses and bystanders rushed to Singh’s aid, taking him to TMH Hospital where he was declared to be in stable condition and out of immediate danger.
The suspects, however, managed to flee the scene before a police team arrived.
Golmuri police were quick to respond to the incident and have since launched an investigation. Officers are currently reviewing footage from nearby CCTV cameras in an effort to identify the perpetrators.
