Dead Body on Railway Track in Jugsalai, Suicide Suspected

Investigations On, Motive for Suspected Suicide Still Unclear

JAMSHEDPUR – A tragic incident occurred in Jamshedpur when a middle-aged man allegedly committed suicide by allegedly lying on the railway tracks when a goods train was nearing near the railway gate under the jurisdiction of the Jugsalai police station.

The man’s body, which was severed in two, lay on the railway tracks for some time before local residents discovered it and alerted the police.

Authorities arrived at the scene and took custody of the body, identifying the deceased as a resident of Dhatkidih in Bistupur.

Police have contacted the man’s relatives for further identification and are currently investigating the reasons behind the incident.

A few eyewitnesses reported that the man had been wandering near the railway tracks for an extended period before the incident.

Although several trains had passed by, he did not attempt to jump in front of them.

However, when a goods train approached, he suddenly laid down on the tracks, allowing the train to pass over him, resulting in his death, eyewitnesses reportedly said.

As the investigation continues, police are trying to know the motives or reasons behind the man’s tragic death.
