Israeli soldiers shot and killed a Palestinian youth in the West Bank on Saturday.
The shooting death of a young man in the West Bank comes less than 24 hours after a Palestinian medical student was killed by police in Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa compound.
Palestinian authorities have identified the young man killed in the West Bank as Mohammed Raed Baradiah. He was 24 years old.
Witnesses told the Palestinian news agency Wafa that Baradiyah was shot inside his car near the town of Beit Ummar, and medics were prevented from attending to the seriously wounded Baradiyah.
“Baradiah was lying helplessly and bleeding, and at one point collapsed to death,” the news agency reported.
The Israeli army says Baradiah was shot dead after he drove his car into some soldiers.
Israeli doctors said three people were injured in the car crash, two of them seriously.
